What is IsoProst™
IsoProst™ supports prostate health by addressing multiple factors of testosterone and estrogen activity and metabolism. With unique characteristics such as modulating hormone receptor function and promoting hormonal detoxification and elimination, men with prostate issues may experience a decrease of symptoms. By decreasing the amount of circulating dehydrotestosterone (DHT) and modulating estrogenic activity there may be a decrease in prostate enlargement and a decrease of abnormal cell growth in the prostate tissue.*

Turmeric has long been used in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries, and is a common household remedy in India. The active constituent is known as curcumin. The National Cancer Institute is currently developing curcumin as a drug for the treatment of cancer. The rationale behind this effort is based on the combination of potential chemopreventive mechanisms, the validated biological activity in preclinical studies, and its proven safety to humans.

Chrysin is a flavinod that helps to minimize the conversion of testosterone into estrogens by inhibiting aromatase. Individuals with overactivity of aromatase may have as abnormal ratio of testosterone to estrogen.

Zinc has been shown to inhibit prolactin secretion by the pituitary gland, as well as inhibiting the activity of 5-alpha reductase. The hormone prolactin has been shown to increase the uptake of testosterone to DHT in the prostate.
