Dr. Larson is the director of a private clinical practice based in Encinitas, California that focuses on helping people with overlooked and challenging health conditions.
Dr. Larson earned a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences (Los Angeles College of Chiropractic), graduating with honors. He is a Certified Clinical Nutritionist by the Clinical Nutrition Certification Board and is a member of the Institute for Functional Medicine, the International and American Association of Clinical Nutritionists, and the American Chiropractic Association. The Commission of the National Strength and Conditioning Association also recognizes Dr. Larson as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He is a Supervising Clinician for the Division of Clinical Internship for Southern California University of Health Sciences.
He frequently lectures to groups on various health-related topics and was the co-host of the Optimal Wellness Radio Show on KCBQ – AM 1170 and KCBQ.com. The show offered alternative and integrative solutions to the conventional medical model and challenged the effectiveness of our current HMO-driven healthcare system. He has also been a featured guest on several different radio shows. In addition to radio, Dr. Larson has been featured on various television news programs. He also frequently writes articles that have been published in a range of journals and magazines.
In addition to his clinical experience, Dr. Larson is the Director of Nutrition for Pure Prescriptions™, Inc., where he has published numerous articles on various health topics and conditions. Recently, he was asked to join the R & D team at Iagen Biologics™, a therapeutic nutritional development company currently producing several unique formulations.
A native of Southern California, Dr. Larson has lived in San Diego for over 30 years, with the exception of college at the University of California Santa Barbara and graduate school in Los Angeles. He currently resides in the northern part of San Diego County with his wife Nicole, and their two sons Nicholas and Christopher. |
