Why Pure Prescriptions?
Our Story Sometimes you find your purpose in life, and sometimes your purpose finds you. Before I started Pure Prescriptions, I had no intention of ever selling a single product. But in 1999, I was diagnosed with a serious health condition, and everything changed.

My first instinct was to research like crazy. I talked to doctors, friends, family, and other patients, and spent a lot of time online trying to find good solid health advice. But the more information I collected — much of it contradictory — the more confused and overwhelmed I became. I started to wonder: Who can I trust? What really works?

The more I researched, the more it became clear to me that the web was lacking a single source of reliable, scientific, fact-based information on how to optimize health. So after my treatment, I founded a non-profit website whose sole goal was to fill that void. I started posting articles on therapies that seemed useful, including dietary supplements.

The website took off. Soon people started emailing me, saying: “Sounds like a great product. Where can I find it?” I would send them links to various product websites. But that always made me uncomfortable, because I wasn’t sure if they were reputable companies. Finally, I realized it was up to me not just to provide people with reliable health information, but give them access to trusted, efficacious nutritional supplements. That’s how Pure Prescriptions was born. It is my sincere hope that we make a positive difference in your life.
