- Taken with meals, the plant enzymes contained within D-Enzymes™ help replace naturally-occurring enzymes that are destroyed in highly processed and cooked foods. This plant enzyme blend promotes the breakdown of protein, carbohydrates, fat and milk protein (lactose).
What is D-Enzymes™?
D-Enzymes™ is a carefully formulated plant based blend of digestive enzymes which act as catalysts to breaking down carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. Health of the body is completely dependent upon proper digestion. Taken with meals, these enzymes will help replace naturally-occurring enzymes that are destroyed in highly processed and cooked foods. D-Enzymes™ is unique because it is active across a broad pH range in the digestive tract.
What makes D-Enzymes™ so much better or different from other digestive enzyme products?
D-Enzymes™ unlike many digestive enzyme preparations currently available is unique because it is active across a broad pH range despite the acidic nature of the stomach for maximum effectiveness. D-Enzymes™ also uses a more healthy 100% Vegetarian encapsulation process.
Why might I need D-Enzymes™?
Gas, bloating and fullness are symptoms that we have all probably experienced at one time or another. Maybe your Doctor or even a friend has suggested taking digestive enzymes right before eating a meal to help avoid these uncomfortable feelings.

Doctor Approved"Supplementing with Digestive Enzymes are a must for everyone given the popularity of processed foods and especially for cooked foods where the natural enzymes are completely destroyed for the most part. I specifically recommend D-Enzymes™ in my office for many of my patients because it is the best."

D-Enzymes™ is a multi-enzyme complex consisting mainly of amylase (starch hydrolyzing enzyme), protease (protein hydrolyzing enzyme) and lipase (fat hydrolyzing enzymes). In addition to these, it also contains cellulase (that hydrolyzes cellulose) and lactase (that hydrolyzes lactose). The enzymes in this complex are of microbial origin (fungal amylase, lipase, lactase, cellulase; and a bacterial neutral protease). The product is therefore entirely of non-animal origin.
The activities of the constituent enzymes in D-Enzymes™ are expressed in standard FCC (Food Chemicals Codex) units.
Digestion is the mechanical and chemical breaking down of food into smaller components that can be absorbed into a blood stream, for instance. Digestion is a form of catabolism: a break-down of larger food molecules to smaller ones. When our body and food cannot provide sufficient enzymes for this process, supplemental digestive enzymes can be of great value to help support normal gastrointestinal function.
